i have cher sebring and having problems with car cd player come on put no sound any anwser.?

im thinking that may have to re wire it but there alot of wire to my system. my car keep turning off and check engine light on.. when i push on breaks really loud sound

    Sounds like you definitely have a wiring issue. Might have a bad wire from ignition to radio. Alternator might also be bad causing car to stall, drawing too much load, probably why check engine light is on. Might want to look into a bigger amp alternator. What about the brakes? When you push them volume gets louder or they need serviced?
